The Kaesemeyer's Crazy Spring!

The farm is growing! The Easter Bunny brought each of the kids a chick. Cooper named his Waddle, Hannah named hers Chirp & Curtis hasn't named his yet. He wants to take his time and get to know his chickens personality first. LOL! It is a good thing we aren't eating the chickens. We still have a ton of work to do to turn 4 more acres into grass. The work we did last year is paying off though. The yard and the rest of the grounds look great. If we don't get a late freeze we will even have Apricots this year. The garden looks wonderful. It is going to be huge. Jerry and Cooper have gone way overboard with it. We have well over 50 strawberry plants. We are going to summerize the pool soon. We will have to have a party!

Jerry was getting firewood for next year and he fell. He will be fine eventually. He dislocated his shoulder pretty badly. I am home caring for him now. He is sleeping. He quit breathing from all of the drugs they had to give him to get his shoulder popped back in. It was really scary. The doctor told me that Jerry only hurt one person and the doctor himself pulled a muscle trying to get Jerry shoulder back in place. Jerry doesn't remember any of it. I think I hear him stirring. I am off to check on him. I will write more soon.

  1. I hope he gets better soon! It sounds like there is a lot of work to be done! Your place will keep you busy this summer, but it will be fun, and worth it! :)
